Common questions

Can the same wrap be used for both hot and cold?

Yes. The Neowrap therapy mats can be frozen or microwaved, so one wrap covers both.

How long should I use it for?

General guidance is 15 to 20 minutes at a time with a break in between. If you are treating a specific injury, follow the advice of your physician or physical therapist.

Does it stay flexible when frozen?

Yes. The Neowrap mats are made to stay pliable so the wrap still conforms once it is cold.

Can I put it straight on my skin?

Use a thin layer of cloth between the pack and bare skin, particularly with a frozen pack.

What are the replacement inserts for?

They let you keep a second insert frozen and swap it in, which roughly doubles how long you can keep cooling.

How does the Ice Bandana differ from a soaking one?

It uses a frozen insert instead of water-absorbing crystals. Nothing to soak, nothing dripping, and it does not depend on evaporation to work.

BPA-free, non-toxic and made in the USA by Cryopak. This page is general product information, not medical advice — for a specific injury, follow the guidance of your physician or physical therapist.
